Welcome to Christ the King Episcopal Church. We are happy to welcome you into our family of faith. We are a Mission outpost in the Diocese of Texas within the Episcopal Church, which itself is a member of the Anglican Communion. We are a multicultural congregation with a sense of community and family.

Our mission is to share the unconditional love of God with all people. We are made up of people from different parts of the world, yet united in common beliefs, love, strength and dignity. Our cultural diversity is our strength. We welcome and accept persons churched and unchurched. We are here to provide shelter in the storm, and continued renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Called to Serve

Have you ever felt the need to render service to God in some way, little great? At Christ the King Episcopal Church, Houston, we encourage every member to discover and follow God's calling upon their lives.

In 2009, after the death of his wife and a near death experience, Aston Brown dedicated his life in service to God and in 2011 he was received into the episcopal family by the Right Reverend Dena Harrison. Soon, Mr. Brown began navigating his way to ordained ministry. Receiving great support from CKEC family, Mr. Brown was on Saturday ordained and is now recognised as a Deacon in the Church of God. On Sunday, the CKEC family feted with The Reverend Aston George Brown, Deacon.

At over 70, Rev Brown feels fit to serve. What are you doing in God's Kingdom today? Think about it and don't be a stranger.

Here are the pictures from the ordination ceremony and the Sunday service in his honour.
