WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

"All the nations you have made shall come and bow down before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name."

Psalm 86:9

Welcome to Christ the King Episcopal Church. We are happy to welcome you into our family of faith. Christ the King Episcopal Church is a Mission outpost in the Diocese of Texas within the Episcopal Church, which itself is a member of the Anglican Communion. We are a multicultural congregation with a sense of community and family.

Our mission is to share the unconditional love of God with all people. At Christ the King, we welcome people from all walks of life, all ages and all nationalities. This reality of diversity is reflected in our ministries, the way we worship, and the way we connect. We make a deliberate effort to welcome people from all nationalities and today, our community is made up of members from Barbados, Belize, Cameroon, China, Jamaica, Myanmar, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Trinidad and Tobago and several other nations. We celebrate our uniqueness together by marking the independence celebration of every nation represented in our church community. During the independence celebration, together, we share a taste of the local cuisine, music, history, and culture of the people. Together, we celebrate God who made us all unique in His own wisdom.

Building a multicultural congregation has enabled us to be a welcoming place for all, while remaining united in our common beliefs, of ove, strength and dignity. Together, we strive to fulfil God's purpose on earth to be welcoming people of all ages and nationality and to learn the truth of God’s word, whereby they can grow in faith, hope and love, and find direction for their lives; while building meaningful relationships with fellow Christians in a loving and peaceful environment.

You are welcome to be part of this community.
